Circumstances of Disappearance
Linda Davis was married and the mother of three on January 7th, 1976, when she went to work in Claremore and never made it home again.
Her car was later found in Oklahoma City, her purse and coat in the trunk. The coat had blood stains on it and had some 20 stab marks in it.
Some believe Linda is in the federal witness protection program, although her children were left behind. Others believe she fell victim to a serial killer who's now in prison in Colorado. Others think she was killed because she was about to testify in an assault case.

Hello Lieutenant Goad,

I am the forensic odontologist for the New Mexico Office the Medical Investigator, trying to identify the skeletal remains of a young female that was recovered in 1995 in Bernalillo County, near Albuquerque, NM. These remains have multiple incised injuries to four ribs and one thoracic vertebrae. I had entered this unidentified person into the NamUs unidentified persons database system in October of 2008 and is listed as case # UDRS 2729 in that system. Today I received information about a woman that went missing from Claremore, OK in 1976, who's coat was found in her car with multiple "stab marks". Her name is Linda Davis who was 29 years old at date of last contact. I also received information that the Claremore PD might have dental records or x-rays on Linda Davis.

The age of our remains appears younger than that of Linda Davis at the time of her disappearance, but I would like to compare her dental records with those of this unidentified decedent.
